EcoVibes from IAV is one of our sustainable collections engineered and designed with techno-fabrics made in Italy using ECONYL® regenerated Nylon.

As well as being a solution on waste, ECONYL® regenerated nylon is also better when it comes to climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 80% compared with the material from oil.

Engineered to provide astonishing comfort and function, Ecovibes stands out for its matt look, smart design and functional fit and for its natural, suede-like hand feel the fabric provides.

Fascinating, soft, compact and breathable, EcoVibes is ideal for a trendy activewear worn also outside the gym giving you extremely comfortable sensation with the performance you need in your active life.

Discover the process behind the breakthrough material:

The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic from landfills and oceans all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.

Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into carpet yarn and textile yarn for the fashion and interior industries.

Fashion brands and carpet producers use ECONYL® regenerated nylon to create brand new products. And that nylon has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. The goal is that once all products containing ECONYL ® are no longer useful to customers, they can go back into step one of the Regeneration System.

By 2020, our goal is to stop using virgin nylon and we are switching all of our current nylon to ECONYL® regenerated nylon.

ECONYL® turns waste into resource, taking waste such as industrial plastic, waste fabric and fishing nets from oceans and regenerate them into a new nylon yarn that is exactly the same quality as virgin nylon.

For every 10,000 tons of ECONYL® raw material, we are able to:

  • Save 70,000 barrels of crude oil
  • Avoid 57,100 tons of CO2 eq. emissions

Our Ecovibes collection is made with ECONYL® yarn.
